Promoting Google for Veterans and Families at Local Event
For the past three months, Strategic Public Partners has had the honor to help promote Google for Veterans and Families, a new website offering free tools for members of the military community. In this, SPP recently partnered Google for Veterans and Families with Operation Buckeye, a Columbus, Ohio charity that assists members of the armed services serving abroad, for an event in which the two groups sent over 1,000 care packages to troops stationed in Afghanistan. United States Representative Steve Stivers attended and volunteered at the event, which was covered by all three Columbus, Ohio television stations. SPP is proud to have been part of such a worthwhile cause.
